DMNV MOUNTABLE DRAWS AWAY TO WIN REMINGTON PARK DERBY

April 20, 2008 -- A sharp break from post 2 helped eighth-fastest qualifier DMNV Mountable earn his second stakes victory in the Grade 1, $194,623 Remington Park Derby on Saturday.

Racing for Ezra Lee and Toby Dahl and prepped by Jacque Uphaus, DMNV Mountable went 400 yards in: 19.903, and his winning margin was one length from Furrtreeous.

"He had a bad trial run but he qualified,said jockey Kenny Muntz. "I was on a good horse and he had a good break. He was able to get out and do his thing like he was supposed to. Everything went right this second time around."

DMNV Mountable was bred by Merrill and Virginia Lee of Billings, Montana, and the colt is one of two stakes winners from 92 starters sired by Panther Mountain, a 9-year-old stallion by Meter Me Gone and American Quarter Horse racing's champion aged stallion in 2003. The colt's dam, Cheyennes Bullion, is a winning daughter of Bully Bullion who ran third in the 1994 Wyoming All Breed Futurity and has produced five winners from six starters.

All told, DMNV Mountable has earned $175,820 from six wins in nine races. The colt's first stakes victory came in last year's $88,597 Kansas Jackpot Futurity (RG2), and his stakes resume includes a runner-up finish to Eyesa Jumpn in the February 2, $256,690 Harrah's Entertainment Derby (G2) at Louisiana Downs.

Fastest qualifier Eyesa Candy Maker, Looks Royal, Coronas Fast Dash, Brighton Beach, Snow Burn, Our Trace Of Smoke, Miss Mojito and Oh Cherokee Rose completed the order of finish.

FAVORITE DMNV MOUNTABLE TAKES HERITAGE PLACE DERBY

June 2, 2008 -- Seventh-fastest qualifier and 7-5 favorite DMNV Mountable earned his third stakes victory in Sunday's $237,360 Heritage Place Derby (G1) at Remington Park.

Saddled by Jacque Uphaus and ridden by Kenny Muntz for owners Ezra Lee and Toby Dahl, DMNV Mountable covered 400 yards in :19.704, and his winning margin was a head from 2007 All American Futurity (G1) finalist Coronas Fast Dash. The victory was the colt's eighth in 11 races.

DMNV Mountable is one of three stakes winners from 120 starters sired by Panther Mountain, a Grade 1-winning son of Meter Me Gone and American Quarter Horse racing's champion aged stallion in 2003. Bred by Merrill and Virginia Lee of Billings, Montana, the colt is also one of five winners from six starters foaled by his dam, the winning and stakes-placed Bully Bullion mare Cheyennes Bullion.

DMNV Mountable has won three stakes, including the April 19 Remington Park Derby (G1)and last year's $88,597 Kansas Jackpot Futurity (RG2) at The Woodlands. The $99,691 winner's share of the Heritage Place Derby purse, the stakes' richest since 1994, boosted his bankroll to $278,331.

Hijo De Villa, Megas Way, Oh Cherokee Rose, Panther Purr, Snow Burn, fastest qualifier Rock Solid Jess, Romancing Mary and Looks Royal completed the order of finish.
